NICHOLAS S. ORVIS
Dramaturg, Scholar, Director
Directing
My work as a director focuses on ensemble-building, dynamic, physical performances, and experimental theater. My approach to plays is informed by my own background as a performer trained in physical theater like commedia dell'arte, Shakespearean performance, and devised performance, and by my primary practice as a dramaturg working across a wide variety of styles.
